QUESTION: The label already says 2008 and the copyright pages agree — velmeran reads 2008 off the second, tenth, twelfth and eighteenth impressions — while `first_year` here is 2009, the year this paperback appeared. Which of the two an edition's year should be is not settled, and this is the clearest case of the two differing on purpose.
