It sits on the 1992 here, which tolkienbooks.net closes at three impressions, so it can be that edition's own third. But it opens a run — 3, 5, 6, 8, 13 and on to a sixty-fifth — that is otherwise the 1999 edition's, and the 1999 edition's own third would sit in the runic-arch printing that runs to a fourth. Its price, CAN $10.99, matches neither the 1999 rows around it nor anything else recorded here, which is the one thing that argues for leaving it where it is. — of this ISBN
